Jordan Release Calendar

You wouldn’t think of rocking an Air Max 95 on your way up the slopes, bobsledding, or curling, right? While the Winter Olympics are a great time for sports fans, sneakerheads are left dry most of the time as these events require hyper-specific footwear that doesn’t translate to street style. However, alongside Nike prepping a viral ACG x Team USA capsule, The Swoosh is bringing us some sneakers to commemorate the 2026 Olympics in Milan and Cortina. The pair? The Olympic colorway of the Nike Air Max 95.
Originally released in 2004 to coincide with the Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, the birthplace of the games in ancient times, the Nike Air Max 95 Olympic features the colors found on the iconic Olympic ring logo. The 2026 rendition of the pair is replicated in 1:1 fashion, with the upper featuring multi-color paneling representing the Olympic rings, black, blue, green, red, and yellow. Golden accents pop on the embroidered mini Swoosh and Air Max logo on the tongue, while more of the multi-color ring motif is applied to the nylon lace loops. The rest of the upper, including the tongue, laces, and heel tab, is done in a crispy white. Finishing the design is the white foam midsole, clear “big bubble” Air units, and a black rubber outsole.

As mentioned above, the Winter Olympics are not as exciting for us sneakerheads as the summer games are. You’ve got basketball and now skateboarding to hold us over during the summertime, but the winter sports generally lack any cool footwear moments. Luckily we at home who didn’t qualify to make a national team can support the games with this Air Max 95. Hopefully we see more commemorative footwear from brands across the industry as we gear up for the games next month.
The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Olympic will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
