The four-year wait is almost over for winter sports fans as the world descends onto Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo for the 2026 Winter Olympics. For us sneakerheads, the Summer Olympics reign supreme, with basketball carrying the weight of cool sneaker moments. However, winter is the best time for outerwear, and Nike ACG has gone all-out for an official collaboration with Team USA to get you warmed up for the Games.
Across the nearly 20 pieces, we see ACG continue its return to providing gear for all conditions, something the label seemed to lack over the first half of the 2020s. The highlight here, and the one that has gone most viral online, is the full-zip fleece jacket, featuring Team USA and ACG logos on the chest as well as a graphic of a mountain and a bald eagle on the back. Look closely at the cords, and you’ll see Nike ACG added a plastic eagle head as a further patriotic nod to the US.
Alongside the fleece jacket, there are full-zip jackets in red and blue, T-shirts depicting a similar bald eagle and mountain graphic, and items featuring an anthropomorphized bald eagle with ACG gear and skis. The eagle can be found on hats and long-sleeve T-shirts, while a more realistic depiction of America’s official bird is found embroidered onto a crewneck sweatshirt. Another piece that's catching eyes is the ACG skirt, which continues the bald eagle and mountain theme with an actual photo of the bird flying across the American landscape. The piece is also reversible, can act as a blanket, and is foldable for quick and easy storage.
