The big bubble is here to stay. After years of slimmed-down Air Max 95 retros, the 30th anniversary of the silhouette saw a return of the OG big bubble tooling to resounding fanfare. With so much success this year, Nike is keeping the big bubble 95 love going into 2026, with new colorways in traditional gradients set to drop throughout the coming year.
The latest Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble colorway is a Black Grape twist on an OG favorite. Using the same court purple hits as the OG Air Max 95 Grape, this pair trades the white base for a black and grey gradient. The T-toe and bottom two waves of the side panel are jet black, with the rest of the upper going grey, getting lighter as it reaches towards the lace panel. The lace loops are black with hits of teal, and the tongue label and heel-side Swoosh are both teal with a grape purple outline.
