Nike SB has big plans for the rest of 2025, including multiple collaborations on the Nike SB Dunk Low. We’ve already heard that Nardwuar and Limosine Skateboards will have their colorways on the model, but a first look at a new project between Nike SB and Bronx Girls Skate has emerged.
Founded in 2020 by Bronx natives Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez, Bronx Girls Skate grew from a chance friendship into a vibrant, family‑like collective that empowers women, femmes, and gender‑expansive skaters across New York City and the globe. Drawing inspiration from Vasquez’s global research into women’s skate communities and Ramirez’s deep roots in local parks, the two united to create safe, inclusive spaces where new skaters could learn.
Over the past few years, the collective has hosted annual events like Women’s History Month meetups and Summer Skate Jams, built a sponsored team of about ten athletes, and even begun dabbling in educational programming beyond skating.

For the label’s Nike SB Dunk Low, the upper is coated in black faux stingray leather with contrasting textile piping around the edges of the panels. Orange surrounds the toe, while red hues line the midfoot and heel overlay. Final details visible in these early photos include a white Swoosh, Bronx Girls Skate branding on the inside of the padded tongue, a golden charm on the heel, green piping on the heel tab, and quotes from Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez on the insole.
The Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly via Nike SNKRS online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $140.
