Traditionally, New Balance is associated with drab greyscale color palettes. However, a recent collection of “Community” colorways has seen 99X models get drenched in vibrant colors. Following up a pink pair in the same color scheme, photos of a new Community Blue Made in USA 993 have now emerged.
The kind of blue suede shoes that would make Elvis blush, the Community Blue 993 has a vibrant light blue suede on all the solid panels of the upper, black mesh in between, and silvery grey nubuck overlays for style and reinforcement. The midsole is black foam with ABZORB cushioning throughout. Like every shoe under the New Balance Made in USA label, the Community Blue 993 is made with premium materials and craftsmanship, and will definitely be released in limited quantities.
