New Balance has been leaning heavily on its technical prowess lately, but that doesn’t mean they throw subtlety out the window. Taking hints from the retro basketball lines and low-profile lifestyle silhouettes from bygone eras, the New Balance 950 is a blast from the past, ready for a summer full of day parties and casual stepping.
The New Balance 950 first hit our radar on the feet of New Balance’s brightest young basketball signee, Cooper Flagg, who wore the shoe in a crisp white-on-white colorway for a tunnel walk during the last week of the season. We hadn’t seen the silhouette since then, until now, when New Balance debuted an Off White and Beige colorway in leather and suede.

The New Balance 950 Off White Beige immediately reminds us of the New Balance 650, which makes sense considering the similarities in numbering. Starting with plush white leather on the toe, side panels, and heel, beige suede is added to the toebox and puffy side panel “N” logo, plus the leather heel tab. The tongue adds a 950 tongue tag on a basketball to round it out with an old-school feel.
The New Balance 950 Off White Beige will be released July 1, 2026, through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120. To keep up with all the latest New Balance news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
