Rich Paul Continues New Balance Partnership with New Balance 2010 Collab

Rich Paul has a lot to hang his hat on. He’s an NBA super agent, LeBron James’ best friend, and Adele’s fiancé, and lately, he’s also a fashion mogul, bringing his Klutch agency into the sportswear world with Klutch Athletics and a New Balance partnership. Proving that athletes and musicians aren’t the only influencers worthy of sneaker colorways, Paul is back with another New Balance collab, this time on a plum purple 2010.

The Rich Paul x New Balance 2010 Plum Brown is a royal blend of purple suede tones and rich brown mesh for a plum wine blend. The upper starts with two tones of purple suede and a purple synthetic material weaving across the support panels of the upper between patches of brown mesh. The laces are maroon for even more tonal blending, and the “N” side logo gets a brown and purple mix to bring it all together. The midsole is done in black, but there’s more maroon tone on the outsole underneath. Paul adds a bit of personalized branding with a subtle “R” logo on the purple leather tongue.

Paul has been collaborating with New Balance since late 2021, and in addition to the collections of Klutch Athletics gear, he’s designed two limited edition 550 colorways, with his 2023 Forever Yours release tapping into its own purple hues. Earlier this year, we saw Paul step out courtside at a Lakers game in a never-before-seen pale pink 2010 colorway, suggesting more collab releases might be on the way, or just that Paul has a sick stock of exclusive PEs.
