New Balance is keeping the heat coming out of England. While the local national football squad keeps the country’s World Cup hopes alive, New Balance is keeping its Flimby factory busy with luxurious pairs of beloved classics. Taking on a full coat of tan suede, the latest Made in UK 991v1 is a perfect reminder why we were all so happy to see the silhouette come back to the catalog.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Luxe Suede features soft, rugged tan suede across the entire upper, with white on the 991 tongue label and dark brown laces to make the light tan pop. The midsole is white to match the banding, and the outsole goes dark in a two-tone mix of black and grey.

After debuting in 2001, the 991v1 was put on the shelf after the 991v2 debuted in 2023. But thanks to an ALD collab in 2025, the silhouette made a triumphant return to the Made In UK label. Now, new colorways like the Luxe Suede tan pair are keeping the model’s legacy alive.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Luxe Suede will be released July 16, 2026, through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $280. For all the latest New Balance Made in UK news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
