Jordan Release Calendar

New Balance’s Made in UK program was designed to highlight the luxury and craftsmanship found in the brand’s Flimby, England, factory. Nestled into the quaint seaside town, Flimby’s rural influence takes New Balance out of the city and onto a slower, more deliberate path. Now, after taking some time out of production, the Made in UK team is returning to a classic, bringing the 991v1 back from the archives.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Chocolate Plum is the first inline 991v1 release since 2023 and follows two pairs of ALD collabs from last year. The new colorway combines premium brown leather in three shades across the upper, rich, dark brown textured leather on the toebox and side panels, crosshatched brown leather on the toebox and base panels, and then smooth caramel leather on the support paneling, all coming together for a classy, old-world look.

The midsole is creamy white with brown hits on the heel to match the off-white perforated leather on the sockliner. To welcome the return of the classic silhouette, New Balance put together an editorial video for social media showing an old British man taking a luxurious train ride in a nice suit and some matching 991v1s, interspersed with clips of the shoes being made at the Flimby factory.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Chocolate Plum will be released February 5, 2026 through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250. For all the latest New Balance news and release info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
