Earlier in the week, Jordan Brand athlete Jalen Hurts was spotted in an all-new Jordan Trunner model, the Jordan Trunner O/S, while arriving at the Eagles' training camp. The model has appeared online via in-hand and early imagery, such as the Archaeo Brown and the Pink Black renditions, but this photo of Hurts rocking an all-red colorway was the first time Jordan Brand officially acknowledged the sneaker. Now, just days removed from this, and official images of the University Red colorway have appeared.
For those unfamiliar with the Jordan Trunner series, it began in the late ‘90s and early 2000s as a hybrid running and training sneaker that could be worn both casually and for workouts. Various models hit the market during this period, including the Trunner LX, which returned in 2025 in a slew of colorways. As for the Trunner O/S, this new chunky “dad shoe” design takes inspiration from multiple Trunner models and performance basketball shoes of this era, like the Jordan Jumpman Team 1.
