The Jordan Trunner O/S Purple Smoke will be released on September 17, 2025
There have been a few prominent trends in the sneaker industry this year: zippers, monochrome earth tones, animal prints, and, most notably, retro models from the early 2000s. At Jordan Brand, the Trunner series has been the Y2K model of choice, and the Trunner O/S is the 2025 update. As we get closer to the O/S debut drop, a new colorway is already standing out as a favorite.

Jordan Trunner O/S SP Purple Smoke
The Jordan Trunner O/S Purple Smoke takes a tri-colored approach, starting with a salmon pink Cushlon 3.0 midsole, a pale purple smoke suede layer wrapping around the bottom of the upper, a deep purple mesh above that, and more smoke suede on the lace protection panel and TPU side panel wings. A bright blue and yellow heel counter and hiking laces round out one of the boldest Trunner O/S colorways we’ve seen so far.
In July, we saw the first images of the Trunner O/S in an Archaeo Brown colorway, and the Purple Smoke definitely fits in that mold, with similar color blocking in brown and blue shades. If you squint and imagine the shoes without the TPU wings, you can see some clear New Balance 992 influence in the silhouette, and in these two colorways in particular.
The Jordan Trunner O/S Purple Smoke will be released on September 17, 2025 in Europe, with a stateside release set for October 2025 through Jordan and select retailers in-store and online.
