Interest in Jordan Brand’s retro lineup has waned in recent years, as mesh runners and comfort-focused silhouettes have become increasingly popular amongst sneakerheads and fashion circles. Leaning into this trend is the Jordan Trunner O/S, an all-new dad shoe-esque lifestyle silhouette that has emerged in a handful of different color schemes over the last few months. Following an official look at the University Red pair that Jalen Hurts debuted, the Jordan Trunner O/S gets a stealthy Black makeover.
Part of the revival of the Jordan Trunner series, which dates back to the 2000s, when Jordan Brand began to experiment with cross-training and running sneakers, the model combines DNA from the Trunner lineup, performance basketball sneakers of the ‘90s, and more modern runners. The upper is a mixture of mesh and suede, all coated in black hues. Along the midfoot sits a textured cage derived from the Jumpman Team 1.

Across the rest of the model are black panels and details, including the mini Jumpman logo on the vamp, the lace set, tongue, and the tonal Jumpman on the heel tab. Inside sits white Jumpman and Jordan text, the only non-black hit visible on the sneaker. Down below, the Trunner O/S comes with a black Cushlon 3.0-cushioned midsole and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Jordan Trunner O/S Black will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
