It's common to see Jordan Brand mess around with classic colorways and throw them on different models. This practice typically happens when a new retro is about to hit shelves, and 2025 is full of OG colors making a return. Alongside the Jordan 1 Mid getting a Black Metallic colorway to honor the upcoming Jordan 5 Retro Black Metallic Reimagined, the all-new Air Jordan 4 RM model has an homage of its own.
Just like the classic Air Jordan 5, which, as mentioned before, is launching as part of Jordan Brand’s Reimagined series in February, this pair sports a clean combo of black, white, red, and grey. Smooth black leather appears on the mudguard, toebox, and heel overlay, while the midfoot panel takes on a canvas finish. Above this canvas sits the TPU cage that extends from the lower eyestays back to the heel, hosting Nike Air branding in a split white and red design.
Moving up the sneaker, we see white laces contrast the wolf grey mesh tongue, while the black tongue label hosts red Jumpman branding. More grey hues land on the sockliner, contrasting the black insole and paneling surrounding the collar. Down below, the sneaker rests on an Air Jordan 4 midsole featuring wolf grey and white hits and a pop of red on the visible Air unit. Completing the look and homage to the AJ5 Black Metallic is the white and clear rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 4 RM Black Metallic will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $160 for men and $130 for GS.
