Now, Jordan Brand is reaching across the aisle and creating something inspired by the iced-out era of hip-hop from the 2000s. The Air Jordan 4 Musik doesn’t just draw from any rapper from the time; the sneaker pays homage to another GOAT in his field with its Lil Wayne inspirations.
And the F is For Footwear
The sneaker looks to feature a khaki upper with serrated edges on the panels, tongue, and heel. Making the theming more apparent are the Roman numerals II and III on the left and right heel in place of Nike Air branding, representing Jordan’s iconic jersey number while also paying homage to the naming conventions of Wayne’s Tha Carter series. Black accents land on the tongue, heel tab, the suede panel that replaces the usual netting, and the sole unit
The iconic wings get a translucent black makeover accented by metallic gold. Gold makes an appearance throughout the model on the Jumpman logo on the tongue, eyelets, and studded heel tab. An iced-out hangtag adds to the rap-influenced look. If the Weezy theming couldn’t get more obvious (the sneaker’s name even stems from Wayne’s Hustler Musik), the box cleverly swaps out the legendary Jordan face box for a younger photo of His Airness as an homage to Tha Carter III.

According to zSneakerHeadz, the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG Musik will be released on January 30, 2027, via Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
