Billie Eilish Debuts a Custom Air Jordan 4 Retro Colorway

It’s been quite some time since the footwear world has talked about pop superstar Billie Eilish. There was a period when she dropped collaboration after collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand, starting with the Air Jordan 15 and AJ1 KO in 2021. She even had multiple Air Force 1s and Air Alpha Force 88s. Billie’s most recent project in the footwear world, her Converse By You Chuck Taylor, launched in October last year. Her latest Instagram dump revealed an upclose shot of her wearing a pair of what appears to be her take on the Air Jordan 4.

Billie is a well-documented fan of the Air Jordan 4, particularly during performances, as she has taken the stage in various colorways over the last few years. As for this custom pair, which Sole Retriever confirmed with a source at Jordan Brand, the pair is done in a similar color scheme to the upcoming Black Cat Air Jordan 4. Black suede panels cover most of the upper, while Billie infuses her love for plaid patterns onto multiple parts of the model.

Starting with the wing eyelets, a blue and red plaid pattern is applied, matching the pattern found on the base of the midfoot mesh netting and the netting on the tongue. This print also finds a home on the heel tab and parts of the midsole. Billie’s Blohsh symbol is attached to the lateral side of the heel.

Unfortunately for Billie Eilish fans, this Air Jordan 4 Retro is just a custom pair made for her. However, as mentioned above, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat (quite similar to this customized pair) is releasing later in the year.
