Widely regarded as the best Air Jordan during MJ’s (original) playing days, the Air Jordan 11 has been placed on a pedestal by Jordan Brand and sneakerheads. Typically, the model is only given a handful of makeovers during one given calendar year, but things have changed in the last few years. We now get a men’s and women’s low during the summer months, and at least one men's and one women's pair during the holiday season (though 2025 is set to feature seven total Air Jordan 11s). With Jordan Brand’s Summer 2026 calendar slowly trickling out, we have word that the White University Blue colorway from 2017 is returning.
Jordan Brand’s strategy for 2026 seems to rely heavily on re-releases of non-OG color schemes, evident not only through this AJ 11, but also through other pairs like the Air Jordan 4 Toro Bravo, Air Jordan 5 White Metallic, and Air Jordan 9 Flint Grey. As for the retro of the AJ 11 White University Blue, the pair is expected to return in 1:1 fashion.
