Nike’s annual streetball tournament in New York City, NY vs. NY, not only plays host to some of the top ballers in the area but also to some of the brand’s best basketball sneaker releases. This year, Nike Basketball prepped a series of sneakers, including the Nike Ja 3 and an Air Force 1, though we have not seen the offerings from Jordan Brand… until now. Celebrating the tournament is a special colorway of Luka Doncic’s Jordan Luka .77.
Featuring a vibrant red, white, and blue color palette, the pair quickly draws comparison to a traditional American summertime treat, Bomb Pop. Like the ice pop, this Luka .77 features a gradient pattern featuring these patriotic hues. The lateral side of the upper on both pairs comes in university blue, transitioning into red as you move toward the medial.

The mesh on the midfoot of the lateral comes with a red backing, partially seen behind the blue mesh above. NY vs. NY logos are applied to the added tag on the lateral side, while the official emblem for the event is placed on the insole. An added Jumpman-branded hang tag, tonal laces, a split Luka logo on the tongue, and red hits on the heel tab finish the upper. Underfoot sits a split Cushlon and Zoom Air-cushioned midsole and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Jordan Luka .77 NY vs NY will release July 29, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
