Jordan Brand’s numerical Air Jordan lineup expanded in 2024 with the introduction of the Air Jordan 39. Like previous Air Jordan 3X releases, the silhouette takes inspiration from the model that predates its 30 years prior, this one being the Air Jordan 9. The model is expected to launch in various new colorways as we enter the new year, including a recently previewed No Alteration iteration and the pictured RNWY variant.
Stealthy black hues cover most of the silhouette on this RNWY colorway, with the naming convention possibly referencing January’s Paris Fashion Week. This connection isn’t too far of a stretch, as other colors of the AJ39 have taken French influences, like the Croix and releases. The pair also comes with a $15 price increase compared to normal AJ39s, likely due to the premium materials used on the silhouette.
