Unfortunately, in the world of sneaker leaks, posting information early can lead to both positive and negative consequences. Look back at Jordan Brand’s Spring 2025 release calendar, which started getting posted in the early parts of 2024. Initial reports stated a new black and red colorway of the Air Jordan 12 was slated to hit shelves but Jordan Brand heard the cries for a retro of the Flu Game and replaced the new colorway with the classic AJ 12 tied to MJ’s playoff performance. Well, if that shelved pair was something you were looking forward to, Jordan Brand is set to finally release the sneaker in Summer 2026.
The Bloodline moniker may make you think of Roman Reigns and his Samoan family dynasty, though it needs to be stated that this pair is in no way connected to the WWE superstar. Reigns is most definitely plugged in with Jordan Brand but the “Bloodline” series of Air Jordans dates back before the wrestling promotion began to push this storyline. In 2019, a black, white, and red Air Jordan 1 High hit shelves with the same Bloodline name, and in more recent memory, the Luka 4 and .77 launched in similar color schemes.
As for the Bloodline Air Jordan 12, the silhouette will come covered in black leather with red accents popping on the metallic eyelets, Jumpman-laden tag on the midfoot, Jumpman embroidered on the tongue, and the heel tab. Quilted tumbled leather and faux reptile skin make up the base and mudguard, respectively, while the look is complete with a black-on-black sole unit.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Bloodline will release Summer 2026 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $215.
