Jordan Release Calendar

Jordan is bringing one of Japan’s most recognizable animal characters to the Air Jordan 1 Low next year for a Maneki-Neko-themed colorway adorned with graphics of the lucky cat on the tongue. The black and red pair is covered in premium leather, embroidered accents, and more precise details worthy of the figurine believed to bring good luck and fortune.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Maneki-Neko takes on the aesthetic of the beckoning cat figurine present throughout Japanese culture. Starting with a premium red leather with a yellow backing, the toebox and side panels are black canvas, while the lace panel, heel panels, and tongue are done in premium black leather. Bringing the cat graphic to life, the figurine’s whiskered face and waving hand are embroidered on the tongue, with a gold bell added in the middle of the tongue for more feline energy.
Embroidered black side panel Swooshes and an icy blue outsole underfoot complete the colorway. This isn’t the first time Beaverton has honored Japan’s good luck cat, most notably on a two-pack of Nike SB Dunks draped in gold and red. This pair looks like it will likely be an overseas exclusive, but we’re hoping the cat can bring us some stateside release luck.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Maneki-Neko will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For all the latest Air Jordan drop news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
