2025 marks the 25th year of business for Japanese sneaker retailer atmos, and the 45th for nearby Tokyo record shop Manhattan Records. The sneaker and music scenes are deeply connected around the world, and in Shibuya, Tokyo, these two legends in the game are celebrating simultaneous milestones with a collaboration on a pair of blue suede shoes with another long-standing industry giant, 200-year-old Clark’s.
The atmos x Manhattan Records x Clark’s Wallabee highlights the intersection of the two Tokyo brands’ logos with a focus on the shared use of blue. The suede Wallabee moccasin features an upper done entirely in blue, with white stitching on the toe for a hint of contrast and a classic tan crepe sole underfoot. The Wallabee features white collab tags on the ankle, with each brand taking one shoe from the pair, with atmos logos on the right and Manhattan Records branding on the left. A collaborative hangtag is made to resemble a 45 RPM adapter used to play 7” records, a nod to Manhattan Records’ 45th anniversary.

In addition to the Clark’s collab, atmos has spent its 25th anniversary year tapping in with brands across the industry, releasing collabs with adidas, asics, New Balance, Salomon, and more. Sadly for American sneakerheads, atmos, which used to have retail locations in New York and Philly, no longer has a footprint in the States, and typically releases collabs as Asia exclusives, and this Wallabee is no different.
