It’s Gore-Tex season. Rain, sleet, and snow are here for the next few months, and if you want to step out without boots, you'd better make sure your sneakers are at least waterproof. Enter the latest collab from prolific Japanese sneaker retailer atmos and adidas, who are once again joining forces on a premium Superstar 82 covered in Gore-Tex protection and highlighted by glow-in-the-dark snakeskin accents.
The atmos x adidas Superstar 82 GTX White Black is a classic Superstar at first look, with a white shell toe and a white leather upper. The Three Stripes and heel tab are done in jade green G-SNK glow-in-the-dark snakeskin, a scaly textile that atmos has used on a number of past adidas collabs. The weatherproof upper is advertised with a Gore-Tex logo on the lateral heel in gold, with gold atmos x adidas co-branding on the insoles, and a gold label on the tongue.
The two brands have an extensive list of past G-SNK collaborations, but the Superstar 82 GT G-SNK is an elevated staple worthy of repeated release. The model first dropped last summer with a black and white pair, which was re-released earlier this year. Now, with a white and black flip, atmos and adidas are keeping the classics coming.
The atmos x adidas Superstar 82 GTX White Black will be released November 21, 2025 through atmos Japan. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥18,700 (approx. $121). For all the latest adidas collab news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
