We popped out to NYC yesterday to check out Ronnie Fieg and Kith’s anniversary celebration, getting a look at the brand’s extensive archive of sneaker collabs and eating a Ronnie’s Meal from Fieg’s food truck. Next to the pastrami sandwich, Ronnie snuck in a custom sneaker collab toy that matches the first and last pairs in the collab archive: a Salmon Toe Asics Gel-Lyte III.
Salmon Toe Pigskin is Back
The Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III Remastered Salmon Toe is a full-circle collab for the Kith team, revisiting the first collaboration that the brand ever dropped when the first Kith location opened in 2011. From that start in Brooklyn back to the archive show on the Brooklyn waterfront, the return of the Salmon Toe comes after two other five-year milestone Salmon Toe retros, with a navy sole on the five-year and a Gel-Lyte V in the same colorway for Kith’s tenth.
Now, for the 15-year celebration, the OG is back in a Remastered rendition with a new material mix, starting with a soft salmon-colored pigskin nubuck with perforations across the toebox. The lace panel and side panels switch to deep blue suede on the rest of the shoe, with white leather on the logo to match the midsole and more salmon pink behind it. Kith and Asics co-branding is added to the tongue and heel, with 15th anniversary detailing on the insoles.

The Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III Remastered Salmon Toe will be released September 28, 2026, through Kith in-store and online.
