There have been a lot of prominent sneaker trends this year, from zippers to hybrid loafers, but one of the most noticeable was an embrace of animal prints. From leopard and cheetah prints to horse hair and zebra stripes, the zoo has served as wild inspiration. Across the sneaker industry safari this year, the most popular faux fur was surprisingly cow print, and adidas is closing out the year with one more moo.

Beyond the new red pair, adidas has already rolled out three other cow print Sambas this year, including an ASOS exclusive to start the year, followed by pink and brown colorways dropping before the year is out. Over at Nike, cow print has made its way to Field Generals, LD-1000s, and our personal favorite, a pair of Wemby cow abduction PEs.
