Although the Samba trend is not as red-hot as in years past, the iconic 1950s football trainer will never go out of style. Helping fuel a recent resurgence in popularity was a two-pack of colorways taking on leopard print patterns across the upper, which keeps selling out with each subsequent restock and re-release online. Adding to the animal print collection from adidas is a Cow Print Samba, which is exclusive to retailer ASOS.
Faux cow fur covers most of the paneling on the upper, as seen on the T-toe overlay, base layer, eyestays, and heel. Here, a black and white cow print is applied, allowing the pink hues of the leather sockliner and the adidas logo atop the tongue to shine through. Earthy tones take over the lace set, which comes in a brown finish, while the tongue, Three Stripes, and heel tab come with a cream leather finish. This all comes paired with a gum rubber midsole and outsole.

As mentioned, this isn’t the only animal print-covered adidas silhouette going viral on the market, as the Leopard Print Pack is in high demand. On top of adidas, New Balance has also entered the animal print game with a recent Courir-exclusive colorway on the 2002R with a cheetah print pair.
The adidas Samba Cow Print W was released at ASOS on February 19, 2025, online and in-store. The pair is expected to restock sometime in March through the retailer. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $130. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
