Adidas is making waves across the sports landscape, but at the end of the day, the German company was built on soccer (I know, I know, footy). The Three Stripes has pushed a handful of club collabs this year, and the latest teams up with Newcastle United for a crisp black and white pair ahead of next week's Premier League start.
Taking a classy approach to a classic shoe, the Newcastle United collaboration packs the upper with white leather, black on the three stripes and suede T-toe, and blue on the heel label, completed with the Newcastle club crest with hits of gold and blue as big as possible on the tongue.
Adidas has been putting out a steady stream of football (it just doesn't sound right, football players wear helmets, sorry) collabs all year, including a huge pack of club-branded Samba colorways for the FIFA Club World Cup and brand new pack of Gazelles honoring Liverpool, Man U, and Real Madrid.
