Jordan Release Calendar

Steph Curry’s sneaker free agency reached a new level over the weekend. After months of Curry giving hyper-specific sneaker shoutouts to his opposing cities and teams, the best shooter to ever touch a basketball has been spicing things up a bit lately, including the completely unpredictable decision to wear On Running shoes during warm-up last week, followed by some significant brand-focused heavy lifting for a shoe company that doesn’t have Curry under contract.
As Curry and the Warriors got set for what turned into a somber road route of the Minnesota Timberwolves amidst state-sponsored mayhem and tragedy in the Twin Cities, Steph warmed up wearing a pair of the brand new adidas Crazy Energy Plus, an upcoming silhouette from the adidas basketball line set to debut later this year.

The sleek low-top model features a one-piece upper design with a V-shaped tongue slightly reminiscent of Anthony Edwards’ and James Harden’s recent adidas signature models. The colorway Steph broke out for warm-ups features an optical illusion-style mix of white and black stripes, zigs, zags, and checkerboards. For Steph, a 37-year-old MVP and sneaker free agent, the impromptu debut is a reminder of just how much sway he still holds in the league, and how many eyes will be on him no matter what his next sneaker move is.
The adidas Crazy Energy Plus will be released Spring 2026 through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $150. For all the latest adidas basketball and Steph Curry sneaker news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
