After years in the vault, Kobe Bryant’s third sneaker with adidas, the adidas KB8 III (now referred to as the Crazy 3), is back. Last seen in 2016, the sneaker never found success on or off the court, though it did inspire the adidas Yeezy 500, which took the sole unit from the performance basketball model. Joining the retro of the Core White Core Black colorway is another OG rendition — Silver Metallic.
Featuring a smooth leather and mesh upper, the pair is doused in silver metallic hues, contrasted by hits of grey and black throughout. The midfoot comes with a Three Stripes logo, rendered in black and lined with a grey embroidery, while solid black hits take over the collar and heel portion of the upper. Moving to the tongue, we see a split grey color palette, the bottom half coming in a silver-grey that matches the lace set, and the upper, and the top half coming in a darker grey. Final details include the adiPRENE+ midsole in a tonal grey paired with a black and grey outsole.
The adidas Crazy 3 Silver Metallic will release in May 2026 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
