Kobe Bryant’s time with adidas is not his best work in the footwear world. Many designs under his signature line with Three Stripes have not aged too well, though there is still a demand for these love-it-or-hate-it designs. Following the Crazy 2 retros in 2025 (initially the adidas Kobe Two), The Three Stripes is revisiting the KB8 III (now the Crazy 3) with one of the original colorways.
Joining the Silver Metallic rendition, this Core White Core Black colorway of the adidas Crazy 3 features a premium tumbled leather upper, differing from the original’s smooth leather finish. This panel is rendered in white, contrasting with the black used on the Three Stripes, the neoprene and mesh tongue, and the neoprene collar. A wavy, grid-like pattern is applied to the top of the tongue, featuring purple Three Stripes logos as a nod to Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers. Finishing the sneaker is the white adiPRENE+ midsole and a cream, purple, and black outsole.
The adidas Crazy 3 Core White Core Black will release in February 2026 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
