Donovan Mitchell debuted his next signature sneaker with adidas, the adidas DON Issue 7, during the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend. While that was months back, official images of his sneaker have begun to emerge online, including pairs like the Foundation and Camp. Next up for the Issue 7 is a Lime Burst colorway.
If the color palette looks familiar, you might remember a pair from Mitchell’s last signature sneaker, the DON Issue 6. In November 2024, adidas dropped the Panama colorway, which paid homage to Donovan’s Panamanian roots, which come from his mother, Nicole. Like this previous pair, the Issue 7 coats the sneaker in lime green and orange hues, applying a gradient pattern that transitions from lime on the toe to orange on the heel.

Dotted Three Stripes in black flow across the midfoot and help form the logo on the orange section of the sole unit. Moving back up, we see the black neoprene bootie comes with lime green accents on the zipper shroud, orange accents on Mitchell’s spider logo on the tongue, and the Three Stripes on the heel tab. Finishing the design is the gradient midsole that mirrors the pattern found on the upper, a black midfoot TPU shank, and a lime green rubber outsole.
The adidas DON Issue 7 Lime Burst will release on August 16, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
