Before we can crown a champion, images of Don’s latest signature sneaker with adidas, the DON Issue 7, continue to emerge online, including this Foundation rendition.
The classic color palette of black, red, and white defines this Foundation colorway of the DON Issue 7. Red hues envelop the base layer, wrapping around the entire upper and overtaking the warped grid pattern overlay near the toe. Three Stripes sweep the midfoot in a dotted black pattern, extending down onto the red sole unit.
Going back up top, the tongue and internals are coated in black shades, with the lacing setup shrouded by a zipper closure system. White neoprene piping on the edge of this panel matches Donovan’s spider logo adorning the tongue tag. The aforementioned red foam midsole finishes the design, featuring a black TPU shank plate, Lightstrike Pro cushioning, and a red rubber outsole.
The adidas DON Issue 7 Foundation will release on September 6, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
