Anthony Edwards quickly moved on from the AE 2, with the third iteration of his signature sneaker with adidas, the AE 3, launching less than a year after the second. The low-top model uses the futuristic design language seen on previous Anthony Edward adidas shoes, this time adding triangular arrows as the midfoot containment system. For the latest Anthony Edwards signature sneaker, adidas retained the same forward-thinking design language seen in his previous models. The mesh base is reinforced with TPU triangles that run from the toe to the heel, while the heel is stabilized with more molded TPU. Inside, the sneaker swaps out the Lightboost for the all-new Hyperboost cushioning technology, something that has, so far, been exclusively availble in adidas' top-tier running sneakers.
