After hitting the market in December 2023, Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1 took the sneaker world by storm. Many held it in the top spot for sneaker of 2024 as hit colorway after hit colorway hit shelves throughout the year. Thanks to the success of both the mid-top and low-top AE 1, the AE 2 has been pushed back to later in 2025, with adidas prepping plenty of new variants of Ant’s first signature sneaker. A new Preloved Lime pair has been added to the release calendar, including the PE to Retail, Champagne Metallic, and Metallic Grey.
Opting for an unusual colorblocking for the AE 1 Low, this pair also strays from conventional pairs, with the titular shade applied to the Primeblue knit used on the upper base layer. However, black details still appear on the sockliner, neoprene tongue, and along the toe cap. For the generative support wing, the large honeycomb-laden reinforcement comes in a black finish and is surrounded by preloved lime TPU.

Moving back to the heel, we see a faux carbon fiber heel counter in black hosting a teal adidas Three Stripes logo. Other details on the upper include the mismatched pull tabs, preloved lime on the heel and black on the tongue, and the hit of teal found on the Anthony Edwards logo on the tongue tag. Finishing the sneaker is the Light Boost-laden midsole paired with a matching rubber outsole in preloved lime.
The adidas AE 1 Low Preloved Lime will release on July 12, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $110 and $90, respectively.
