Some Air Jordan 3s aren't immediate hits. Take, for example, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Mocha from October 2001. Pairs could be copped on sale for as low as $20 at select retailers, as the new Retro+ colorway did not receive immediate praise from sneakerheads.
As time passed, the pair became sought after, even though it still received a mixed reaction from critics. Seventeen years later, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Mocha returned and had a much better retail release than its predecessor. In 2022, we get a new take on this modern-day colorway, in the form of the ice cream-themed Neapolitan edition.

Like the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors in traditional ice cream, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Neapolitan comes in white, dark mocha, atmosphere, and sail. Another women’s exclusive, they feature a white-based leather upper with pink accents via the Jumpman logo on the tongue, front eyelets, wrapping around the back heel of the midsole, and on the bottom front of the outsole. Dark Mocha highlights the elephant print detailing in its traditional places and the upper eyestays, branding on the back heel, and the rubber outsole. Special packaging in a white shoe box and a pink plastic Jumpman hang tag top things off.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro Neapolitan W is set to release on May 14th, 2022. It will drop at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Coming in women’s sizing, retail is set at $200. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay updated on future releases.
