Yeezy footwear is on the rise once again. After losing his footwear empire following multiple stretches of hate-filled tirades and antisemitic remarks, Ye, FKA Kanye West, has reentered the retail space thanks to a new partnership with JD Sports. The retailer is set to carry a number of Yeezy silhouettes, including Yeezy Slides, starting this week. But if the relationship continues, we should be seeing even more models like the Yeezy 800 hit JD. Maybe there’ll be room for the Yeezy boots that Ye previewed earlier in the month?
Yasiin Bey Rocks New Yeezy Boots
Not only does Ye have access to unreleased Yeezy models, but so too does his long-time friend Yasiin Bey. The rapper formerly known as Mos Def took the stage at The Roots Picnic festival in the UK rocking a black suede boot. Ye would then take to X to repost fan accounts who posted images of Bey wearing the boots, confirming they were indeed sample Yeezy boots.
Similar in style to the boots previewed by Ye, and similar to his old Yeezy Season boot designs, the high-top boot comes with multiple suede panels in a dusty black shade. A treaded outsole in a different shade of black matches the thick rubber midsole below. And like much of Ye’s recent output, the design is laceless, making it a slip-on silhouette. Let’s just hope that there aren’t any sizing issues with the model.
When Do New Yeezy Boots Release?
There’s no confirmed release date for the new Yeezy boot samples, but with someone not named Ye rocking the shoes, it should be sooner rather than later.
