Vans is Bringing Pink and Pearls to ComplexCon Exclusive Old Skool Drop

It’s that time of year. After a heavy diet of exclusive drops at Surplus Festival in Australia last weekend, the sneaker industry is flying across the world to Las Vegas for ComplexCon, where brands are bringing out a new set of limited, one-time-only drops this weekend. Vans is getting in on the Sin City excitement with a new pack of pearlized Old Skools.

The latest Vans Premium Old Skool 36 Pearlized collection is getting an early release at ComplexCon this weekend, allowing fans of the SoCal skate brand to grab pink and white pairs of Old Skools adorned with faux pearls before anyone else.

Starting with the pink pair, the shoe features a two-tone design, with black suede on the toe, heel, lace stabilization panel, and logo stripe, and pink canvas covering the rest of the upper. Pearls round the toe and line the side panel logo for an ornate, fancy look. The white pair keeps the pearls in the same place, but trades pink and black for a full upper of off-white suede and canvas.

Vans dropped its first Old Skool Pearlized pack last year in all-black and a black-and-white colorway. This year, the brand has brought out more exclusive Old Skools with the Souvenir Pack, making the return of the Pearlized pairs a welcome continuation of the theme. So far, the only release date for the collection is the ComlexCon exclusive drop, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out more about a wider release on the Sole Retriever mobile app.
