Vans is fresh off the release of one of their most viral sneakers in recent memory, the Vans Premium Old Skool 36 Souvenir. The Cali-based brand took inspiration from the high-fashion world for the DIY-esque color scheme, more specifically, the Chanel On The Pavement Messenger bag from Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection. While this pair sold out instantly online via Vans’ website, there’s a second colorway joining the collection in September.
Just like the original colorway, this burgundy-shaded version of the Old Skool 36 Souvenir features a distressed upper with an acid-washed finish. The same pre-worn and DIY-esque details remain, like the vintage-style pins displaying Vans logos and the multi-color tweed jazz stripe and tongue lining.

Solid black details ground the design and are found on the toecap, eyestays, and heel overlay. Finishing the upper is an orange set of laces and a brown leather sockliner. Down below sits a scuffed and pre-worn vulcanized rubber midsole and outsole.
The Vans Premium Old Skool 36 Souvenir Burgundy will release September 2025 through Vans and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
