We’ve been stoked on the Vans Chanel rips for a while now. Taking it back to the early days of sneaker culture when brands would poach influence from the art and fashion world without officially sanctioned collabs, the Vans OTW (Off The Wall) line’s latest efforts have taken clear inspiration from Chanel handbags.

Souvenirs for the Streets

The Souvenir Pack is the OG in the Vans handbag collection, taking details from the luxury brand’s On The Pavement Messenger Bag, complete with multi-color thread on the stripe logo and tongue border, weathered accents across the upper, and custom pins attached to the side panels. Vans has dropped a steady run of souvenir pack Old Skool 36 colorways, and now, the SoCal skate brand is rolling out four colorways for the summer.

After getting previews of the Asphalt, Faded Black, Oatmeal, and Navy colorways earlier in the year, the new campaign puts the pairs together for a paint-splattered photoshoot that highlights the pairs amongst vintage trophies and souvenir ephemera. Of course, the Chanel inspiration is left to the imagination and never explicitly mentioned.

The Vans Old Skool 36 Souvenir Fall 2026 Collection will have a staggered release schedule, with the Asphalt colorway dropping June 25, 2026, the Faded Black and Oatmeal colorways coming on July 23, 2026, and the Navy pair following on August 20, 2026.
