Things have changed at Under Armour Basketball since the last time De’Aaron Fox dropped a signature shoe. In the time since the Curry Brand Fox 2 dropped, Steph Curry left UA, bringing the Curry Brand with him, and throwing the rest of the sub-label into flux. Now, De’Aaron is getting set to drop the Fox 3 with a new look and new Under Armour logos.
The Under Armour Fox 3 is the first of De’Aaron’s signature shoes out from the Curry Brand umbrella and into the Under Armour in-line catalog. Replacing the Curry co-branding with a UA logo on the lateral heel, the Fox 3 keeps De’Aaron’s curled-up fox logo front and center on the tongue.
First seen in-game on the feet of UA hooper Davion Mitchell, who wore a sample version with Curry Brand logos, we got a better look at the debut pair on Fox’s feet this week. The low-top silhouette does away with the strap in favor of a two-tone upper with stabilization wings coming off the lace panel, an extra-padded ankle collar, and a gradient hit on the midsole.
The colorway Fox debuted features a blue and black upper with a pink midsole that pushes to black at the heel, and finishes with neon green acents on the branding. The Under Armour Fox 3 doesn’t have a firm release date or retail price just yet, but look for it to drop later this year. For all the latest updates on the Fox 3, download the Sole Retriever App.
