Quick Facts
- An unseen Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack sample has appeared

- The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack Gold Navy definitely isn’t getting a release

Travis Scott’s signature Jordan silhouette has been top of mind for sneakerheads lately, with a La Flame stepping out at the Virgil Abloh exhibit opening in Paris in a pair of never-before-seen triple-black Jumpman Jacks. Before that, we saw a less-than-stellar early-stage sample in brown leather, and now, we get another stepping stone in the process that led to the official retail model.
The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack Gold Navy Sample popped up this week on Instagram via @bear_town_sneaks, and as opposed to most stock samples in size 9, this pair is a 10.5, suggesting Travis might have tested this pair personally. The pre-production pair in two-tone black suede and gold perforated leather features an alternate Cactus Jack character logo on the heel and “JACK” written on the outsole, both in bright red.
From the brown leather pair that looks like a 1950s football helmet turned into a shoe to an alternate makeup of the Chase B colorway, we’ve seen a few Jumpman Jack samples to keep the hype stoked for the model between general releases. After Chase B’s retail pair hits shelves later this year, the only other Jumpman Jack (or CJ1 T-Rexx, according to Travis) confirmed is the slime green pair Scott wore courtside at a Celtics game during the 2024 NBA Finals.
The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack Gold Navy definitely isn’t getting a release, so don’t even think about asking. Hey, maybe he’ll bring a similar color combo out in the future, you never know.
