A new exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris titled Virgil Abloh: The Codes celebrates the late legendary designer’s intricate design process, tracking his work from Pyrex to his Off-White Nike collabs and plenty of unreleased prototype products. The exhibit reconstructed the famed Paris boutique Colette that closed in 2017, bringing a paragon of sneaker culture back to life to honor Abloh’s career. Ahead of the exhibit's public opening, a bevy of Abloh’s contemporaries, friends, and family gathered, including Travis Scott, who popped out in a never-before-seen pair of Jordans.
La Flame showed up in Paris for the event and immediately turned heads. Wearing an all-black outfit with two shining wallet chains, Scott completed the outfit with a pair of triple-black Jordan Jumpman Jacks. The blacked-out pair of Scott’s signature silhouette looks like a mix of suede, canvas, and nubuck construction, but without a closer look, it’s hard to be sure.

Outside of Virgil, Travis has been one of Nike and Jordan’s biggest collaborators in the last decade, and seeing Travis show up in an unreleased pair of Jumpman Jacks at the Abloh design exhibition is bringing back all sorts of sneakerhead memories from the last decade’s heyday.
The triple-black Travis Jumpman Jacks aren’t on any release calendars yet, but considering the way Scott’s shoes have been rolled out in the past, we wouldn’t put it past him or Jordan to roll these out in the near future. Virgil Abloh: The Codes will be open to view starting today, September 30, 2025 for the next 10 days, and is part of a larger tribute to Virgil happening throughout this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
