“How many records can my records break?” That’s what Kanye West asked Kobe Bryant in the iconic commercial for the Nike Kobe 7 in 2012. Bryant responds, “More records,” but in an alternate timeline, Travis Scott could be taking the place of his mentor Kanye West. The controversial multi-hyphenate left The Swoosh in 2013, and Travis joined the team in the latter part of the decade, becoming one of the most revered collaborators in the sneaker industry. Once again, his Jordan 1 Low collab has shattered records.

We were all trying to cop the latest AJ 1 Low collab from Travis Scott, which was part of his three-way project with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design. A week-long wait for the shop.travisscott.com exclusive raffle had every sneakerhead pent up with anxiety. On November 15, when the floodgates opened and Scott left the raffle open for nearly ten hours, it left many walking away with an L. That’s because this was one of the most entered raffles in sneaker history. According to Bloomberg, the raffle for the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Sail Military Blue received 4.4 million entries.

Previous reported raffles from Scott’s site were near this figure; the Reverse Mocha colorway netted 2.4 million entries, and the not-so-beloved Air Trainer 1 over 1 million. The closest was the Phantom AJ 1 Low, with over 3.5 million entries.

While the rhetoric surrounding Scott’s presence in the sneaker world has been negative as of late, with many claiming that his releases have become lazy and formulaic, he still demands the most attention of all in the space. Every time he’s gearing up for a drop, whether that’s his own signature models like the Jumpman Jack or Field Jaxx, or his Jordan 1 projects, people come out of the woodwork to try and cop.

Next up on the calendar for Travis Scott x Jordan is the Chase B colorway of the Jumpman Jack, expected to hit shelves before the year is out. After that, we have a Celtics green rendition of the same sneaker and potentially more Jordan 1 Lows in the second half of 2026.
