Salomon has evolved in the sneaker space largely thanks to its technical prowess. The gorpcore favorite is known for its performance trail running and hiking shoes, with a mix of weatherproof material, quicklacing, and lugged soles. On its latest collab with longtime partner The Broken Arm, though, Salomon is stripping its aesthetic down to the basics for a new co-crafted silhouette.

Thin Skin and No Tongue

The Broken Arm x Salomon Savát Pack features two debut colorways of the new model, one in Black Olive and the other in Cosmic Sky purple. Instead of bulky protection for the trail, the Savát takes inspiration from handmade footwear, with a thin upper made from one piece of leather.

Starting with a tough protective toecap, the rest of the upper is thin and flimsy on purpose, with no tongue, creating an open lace panel for supreme breathability. Exposed detail stitching ripples across the side panels, and a single lace adds a simple slip-on aesthetic. Underfoot, a sole inspired by the S/LAB Cross 2 makes sure the silhouette is still trail-ready.

The Broken Arm x Salomon Savát Pack will be released June 16, 2026 through A Broken Arm, Salomon, and select retailers in-store and online.
