Vans is on a generational run. While the SoCal skate shoe supplier has been a pillar of the footwear scene for decades and has plenty of hype in its history, the mid-2020s are on another level. With inline releases from the Pearlized Pack to the collabs with Mattias Gollin, SZA, and K-Pop Demon Hunters, more and more sneakerheads are shifting their attention to the label. A few months back, streetwear label T-Rex Global posted photos of its take on the Vans Classic Slip-On, featuring custom artwork on the canvas silhouette, but there’s more to come from the label.
T-Rex Global x Vans Latest Collab
The latest Instagram post from T-Rex displays two Vans collabs: one on the Classic Slip-On and another on the Authentic. But T-Rex is still unsure of which one they should drop next, captioning the post, “Can’t decide which VANS to drop next. I’ll let the people choose!” The Slip-On is dubbed “Rocker” and features a devil-horned woman plastered across a black canvas toebox. Accenting features include the tumbled leather collar, black suede heel cap, and leopard print trim on the tongue.
For the Authentic, T-Rex goes back to the same Maniac graphic that kicked off its partnership with Vans. This time, the up-close shot of a woman’s face is rendered in a pinkish-red hue, but the rest of the design is not left bare. Paisley print runs from the midfoot to the heel, and leopard print adorns the collar lining.

T-Rex’s new collab with Vans on the Vans Classic Slip-On Rocker and Authentic Maniac has no confirmed release info, but it seems like the public will influence which of the two comes first.
