The NBA Finals are turning the whole world into Knicks fans. From Taylor Swift and the Haim sisters to Hailey Bieber, Jon Hamm, and every New York transplant in the five boroughs, orange and blue fever is raising the temperature everywhere but Texas. For some fans, though, the Knicks 3-1 Finals lead is more than a bandwagon; it's a lifelong dream.

Knickstape

Spike Lee has been courtside for every major moment in modern Knicks history, and this playoff is no different. After biting his nails through Game 4’s historic comeback in custom Air Jordan 3s, Spike took to Instagram Thursday morning to show off a new pair of custom Timberland boots to channel OG Anunoby’s game-saving energy. And while Spike spends every game on the wood in Midtown, his heart and style are always in Brooklyn.

Spike’s new Timberlands start with a standard Wheat construction boot base, and add a “BROOKLYN” hit across the lateral side panel of both shoes, just in front of the tree logo at the heel. Keeping things Knicks themed, the pair adds blue laces with an orange lace lock. Spike got so excited about the pair that he forgot the series standings, adding “Right now, I can walk to San Antonio for Game 6” in the caption. Sorry, Spike, that’ll be Game 5 in San Antonio.
