Fashion takes time. And while Australian menswear label Song For The Mute and adidas have been churning out a serious run of collabs over the past few years, it still takes time to get the collab pairs to retail. After getting a preview of three pre-production sample SFTM colorways of the adidas Tokyo last summer, the shoes are finally ready to drop, alongside two pairs of remixed Sambas with thick boot soles.

The Song For The Mute x adidas Spring/Summer 2026 Collection is anchored by the three pairs of SFTM-008 Tokyo in Bluebird, Black, and Off-White. The Bluebird and Off-White pairs add a thick, textured nylon fabric to the upper, while the Black colorway goes with a wide knit mesh for a more casual, summer look. All three pairs feature corduroy and suede on the toe and lace panels, with contrasting suede Three Stripes.

The SFTM-009 Sambas are reimagined as dressy boots in two colorways, one in brown leather with white Stripes and the other in black leather with white Stripes. Both shoes feature a large black boot sole underfoot with weatherproofing stretching above the midsole onto the bottom part of the upper like a formal duck boot.

The Song For The Mute x adidas Spring/Summer 2026 Collection will be released May 15, 2026 through Song For The Mute, adidas, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing for the Tokyo pairs and unisex sizing for the Sambas, the retail prices on the pack are still TBD.
