Running, it’s so hot right now. In a fashion industry full of niche labels with specific influences from the world of golf, martial arts, weed, pro wrestling, cinema, and any other subculture you can imagine, the runners are lapping everyone (except skaters, maybe). Hot on the heels of hype performance running collabs from Nike and a new preview from Saucony, the Three Stripes is stapling a number to its shorts and getting in on the race.

The Song for the Mute x adidas Running Collection is the latest link-up between the Australian menswear label and the German sportswear giant, this time with an eye towards PRs and Strava posts. Taking on two pairs of the adidas Supernova Rise 3, Song for the Mute keeps things earthy and muted, with one pair in Auburn and the other in Off White.

Both pairs feature a monochrome mesh upper with a matching outsole for a streamlined look. On the Auburn pair, a white tongue and Three Stripe branding make it pop, while a bit of black gradient at the top of the upper adds subtle layering. The same blocking is featured on the Off White colorway, with a black tongue and branding, and a white gradient on the top side of the mesh.

The Song for the Mute x adidas Running Collection will be released April 2, 2026 through Song for the Mute, adidas, and select retailers in-store and online.
