Milwaukee is a special place. The biggest city in Wisconsin is home to Giannis and cheese curds, the Brewers, and more real breweries than you can count. This summer, the city is celebrating itself with a Summerfest concert series spanning four weekends with superstar headliners like Don Toliver, The Roots, Garth Brooks, and dozens more. Getting in on the action, adidas and Eric “Shake” James, founder of Milwaukee boutique SNEEX and longtime adidas Cornerstone Community partner, are adding another Forum Low collab dedicated to every facet of the city.
A What The Mix for Milwaukee
The Sneex x adidas Forum Low What The Milwaukee is Shake’s latest in a long line of adidas collabs, bringing Milwaukee’s wonders to life, this time mixing a jumble of asymmetric paneling dedicated to “Milwaukee’s history, neighborhoods, wildlife, food culture, and community staples.” Combining as many colors as you can imagine, the lateral side of the right shoe adds Lake Michigan waves, while the left shoe goes giraffe print, presumably as a shoutout to the city’s zoo.
“I’ve always looked at sneakers as a way to tell stories, and with W.T.M., this was about telling Milwaukee’s story in an honest way,” said Eric “Shake” James. “There’s so much culture, creativity, and pride here that people outside the city don’t always get to see. We wanted this project to feel true to the community that raised us, while also creating something that gives back and inspires the next generation to see value in where they come from.”

The Sneex x adidas Forum Low What The Milwaukee will be released June 6, 2026 through Sneex in-store and online. In true Midwest nice fashion, every pair will come with a free ticket to Milwaukee Summerfest. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
