Salehe Bembury Adds Giant Lakeside New Balances to 992 Calm Be The Crater Campaign

Salehe Bembury is a busy man. The prolific designer and sneaker collaborator had an incredibly busy 2025, collaborating with Crocs, Puma, and New Balance, publishing his first book, and launching his own Spunge footwear label, complete with inline drops, collabs, and exclusives. For Bembury, the work never stops, and his latest collab continues his nature-themed New Balance partnership with a Calm Be The Crater 992.

Inspired by hikes through thick forests that lead to lakeside clearings and serene camping sites, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 Calm Be The Crater is covered in blue, green, and grey suede and mesh. The shoe debuted this week with a new campaign, adding massive blow-ups of the shoe onto quiet camping scenes.

The shoe features hairy suede running along the bottom half of the upper, with forest green on the toe, grey on the side panels, and pale green on the heel. The mesh is lake water blue, with bright green hairy suede on the side panels and yellow on the “N” logo.

The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 Made in USA will be released February 12, 2026 through Bembury’s website and New Balance in-store and online.
