It’s been a rough month for Dead Heads. After more than 60 years on the road playing shows, recording albums, and inspiring millions, Grateful Dead founding guitarist Bob Weir passed away on January 10th, inspiring an outpouring of love and memories memorializing the rock legend. At Nike, the Dead have always been close to the heart, and following a college football season full of Grateful Ducks collabs at the University of Oregon, The Swoosh is re-upping the partnership for a new pair of PEs for the basketball court.

The Oregon Men’s Basketball team laced up the Nike Sabrina 3 Grateful Ducks PE and matching warm-up gear on Wednesday night for a showdown against the UCLA Bruins. Following in the bear paw footprints of the Nike Air Max 90 Grateful Ducks that dropped last year, the Sabrina 3 PE features a psychedelic tie-dye print on the toe and heel, with fuzzy green fur on the Swooshes and Grateful Duck branding on the tongue.

The current NCAA season has been full of Nike and Jordan PE colorways across conferences, but while schools like Duke and UCLA have been vocal about every colorway that shows up in the mail, Nike’s hometown school, Oregon, has been a little more low-key. But just because they aren’t bragging, doesn’t mean the shoes aren’t there, with Oregon players lacing up PE colorways of the LeBron 23, Kobe 5 Protro, KD 18, alternate Sabrina 3s, and more.

As of now, the Nike Sabrina 3 Grateful Ducks PE is not scheduled for a public release, but after the Oregon Football team’s Grateful Ducks collection hit shelves, we’re already hoping this one eventually makes its way to the drop schedule.
